Truvi switches to data-driven risk model
Truvi is transitioning to a data-driven risk model, which will provide hosts with smarter risk assessment, clearer booking statuses, and updated terms. Truvi announced this change in early April of 2026; the transition begins today, April 8th, 2026.
According to Truvi, this means: clearer, more consistent information about each booking's risk level, directly in your dashboard. You'll see a risk rating on every booking (Low, Moderate, High, or Critical) plus the specific indicators behind it, so you’ll understand why.
Truvi's guest verification has been a game-changer for us, and we're looking forward to a clearer picture of the risk level of future bookings.
Part of this change is that Truvi is introducing new pushback statuses, which means the previous custom fields in your API connections will not work, and you'll need to update all your automations to replace the old custom fields with new ones. In other words, now becomes {{superhogverificationstatus}} now becomes {{TruviScreeningComplete}}, and instead of the value being 'complete', it is now 'true' that we will use as a condition for our automations to fire
